Beware of Online CPR Classes
Online CPR Classes are one of the latest internet scams. Each week, I have students in my CPR courses who took one of those online CPR classes and received a certification card that is not accepted at their workplace. The reason these online CPR classes are not accepted is because there is no practice on manikins.
How it works:
1. You take an online CPR Class and pay about $50-60
2. You answer 5 questions over the computer and print out a card from your home printer. Takes about 2-3 minutes.
3. You take this certification card to your work site and it is not accepted.
Save yourself some time and money and take an official American Heart Association CPR class and then you will receive the official AHA card.
